I used to have some Damarts.. I washed them on too high a temperature and they shrank enough to just fit an Action Man doll

Just got back from walking Lemmy. Were both soaked, so a rest in front of the wood burner is called for.

She did, pulled a funny face, then ran round the house shouting, "I'm on fire, I need water!!!"

November....not yet although it soon went chilly this evening as the sun went down.

It's getting close, now. We're down to 20 inside, and the tipping point is 19.5. I reckon another week and we might have the heating come on for the first time since March.

I haven't worn long pants since March. My previous best was March to mid October. I might try and make it to December.

10 year old is great. quarter cask is good too.

Underfloor is on continuously now until, well who knows not me or the weather forecasters, upstairs comes on for 1 hour from 4.30 am util 5.30am.

Nearly the end of November and still hanging on. Heatings been on a couple times but only for the grandkids visiting or staying over.
Tonight though...its 3 degrees outside...its 15 degrees on the thermostat ...blimey it's cold inside our house. Heating on ?...nah, I just closed the windows

15C is 'freezing'.

We run a nice steady 20-21C during the day and around 17-18C overnight.

Mind you we are soft southerners living a fairly long way up north.
