Mr K carved this for me to put in the window to show the children of our neighbourhood that we are friendly and likely to have sweets to give out . (though we may have opened the bag of fun size chocolates this evening ! )

I take out two kids out trick or treating, we only go to houses with the pumpkins on the front/ in the window (like ours).

They enjoy seeing all the different costumes on the way round and talk to lots of nice friendly people.

All done by 8pm and it's nice to have a chat to the locals who you normally see in passing but normally to busy to talk, such is life..

Years ago when I took my son round for the first time I was amazed at the effort some people go too, nice to see!.

It's a couple of hours fun for the kids and I hope I never turn into a sour faced misery, well I'll try my best not too..
