Cadbury's Cream Eggs. I mean... why?
It's marketing - 250 teracalories, but women know deep down that it must be good for you because it's an egg.

I'm with Dayvo about jazz. I just don't see the point. It's like trying to play chess with the pieces making whatever moves you want, then being pleased that someone wins.

Some pop/rock acts that regularly get or used to get ****+ reviews in Mojo/Q magazines, eg:

Morrissey / the Smiths (various fans have tried hard to get me to appreciate their finer points, but failed)
The Beautiful South
U2

The Beatles

1. The name is a pathetic pun and is so so naff.
2. Everyone elevates them to god status. None have done anything of note for the past 35 years.
3. Whenever one of their records comes on (although I accept it was good in its day) I get the same feeling that we all get when Bryan Adam's "Everything I do I do it for you" comes on. It just has been played to death and is just so so boring.

U2 - Irritating, smug and pointless. "One" isn't a bad song but it needed Johnny Cash to sing it properly.

Cliff Richard - How the *$(& did he have so many number one singles?

Daniel O' Donnell (and any number of other, less famous Irish "Crooners" like Joe Dolan, Dominic Kirwin, etc) - credit where it's due, they made themselves very rich singing boring, braindead songs to people with no imagination, but they're BORING and get a ridiculous amount of radio airtime here

Eastenders - how is it possible to watch this without slitting your wrists? I don't like soaps but at least Coronation street has a comedy angle, Eastenders is depressing and just involves people shouting at each other.

I don't get:
The Beatles and Elvis
Musical Theatre
Shirley Bassey
Soap opera
TV dramas
Smack the pony

etc, but...

My other half takes the biscuit on this one as he worked at a Roy Chubby Brown gig last weekend. There was so much not to get - not just the offensive humour but the entire audience. Where do these people come from? It was like a secret section of society you never see - all identical too...
