There are going to be puzzled Subway managers up and down the country wondering why cyclists are coming in for a sniff after this thread!

The handy thing about sniffing at Subway at the Favell is that it has a door at each end so I could walk straight through

Really? a lot of those from Costas and Starbucks are mixes which are packed full of it. If you just get a standard coffee and put your own milk in then it will be o.k. My friend put on loads of weight with those caramel macciatos and drinking loads of Oasis drinks. She lost loads of teeth and ended up with diabetes.

Skinny latte or Americano for me. No added sugar. You don't have to have the super sweet high calorie ones

I used to enjoy a Subway sandwich... Italian BMT with all the salad, cheese, and toasted please. Much better than a kebab, pizza or burger at 2.00am, i figured. Then they started charging 40p for the slice of cheese and the luxury of having it slightly toasted, which put me off a bit. Then i had a cheese sandwich with salad one night, and it gave me the sh!ts !!! Never been back.

I'm quite partial to a West Cornwall Pasty whenever I'm near a main line station, the veggie ones. I think there's one or two other CC'ers who like them as well !

I’ve finally had a Subway!
