I was surprised at how icey one road was today. Yesterday it was okay, just had undisturbed snow/ice down one side of the road. This evening it was just all snow & ice. A tractor had driven up it and had compacted the snow which had then iced over. I had one little wobble but stayed upright. I decided my best bet was to cycle on the undisturbed snow so basically a combination of middle and wrong side of the road (lucky it's not a regularly used road!). I had a few other moments when the back wheel was spinning on the steepest bits but made it up the road in one piece without any offs. Think I'll avoid that road tomorrow!
