I've seen Angie's big baps for the first time in years, residents of Norwich might already know what I mean.

Such language! It’s only because I’m a bit of an Anglophile that I understand “bap”. They are “buns” here, and we sit on those, as well.
Teacakes around here. Well, I say that, but 'muffins' and 'buns' is/are creeping in.🧐

No he bloody doesn’t.
Awful man. I know of many parents who use him as a threat. As in ‘if you don’t go to bed right now, the puppet man will get you’.
Yebbut that’s hardly his fault how mothers discipline their children. 😉

Always go past this place on my annual trip to the West Country, on the A39 "Atlantic Highway" near Wadebridge.
Even I roll my eyes at the joke these days.

Edited to add I've never been tempted to stop.

Not even for the pasties? It is rated highly on Tripadvisor.

I think there are probably more parts of the country where "Baps" means soft bread buns than where they mean something else.

And most of the reviews mention baps in a clearly non-"funny" way.

I always thought Carl's Burgers in Thetford was probably better...

After some years it was renamed "Angies even bigger baps" but recently that was changed to "Angies envelope flaps".
