Nope. I still have plenty of days where I average 15mph. Keep going!

Well, if it was downhill and a strong back wind all the way yes, otherwise how are we supposed to know.

Yeh! I suppose thinking about it you are crap, is that the answer you wanted.

If not here is another one, no that was a fine speed for a non cyclist to achieve.

I dream of averaging 15mph
Me too. On the MTB I manage 14mph (but can't hold that for too long) but my average is about 12.5mph

Don't pay no mind to people at the top on places like strava all doing averages of 22 mph and so on. These are either incredibly fit people or know how to game the stats - someone going downhill with the wind behind them is going to have a much faster average than normal.

Aim for exactly average in the lists and you will be doing well.

15 mph sounds decent enough to me. If you enjoyed the ride what that's all that counts. I used to get hung up about my average and realised the enjoyment was suffering as a consequence.

should there be a comma between months and am?
as in ' about 6 months, am I crap?'

@rodland sorry for my messing about it's not meant to be taken seriously
as already said by @ianrauk you are on a bike and enjoying your self, so all is good  i find that now i have a garmin on the bars i am constantly flicking between the navigation/map page and the stats page and i am always glancing down trying to push up my average speed and seeing how many miles i have done etc and sometimes i wish i just had it in my jersey pocket and i then drool over the stats when i get home on the pc, not that i don't enjoy my riding of course
Cheers Ed
