Charge plug 2, Just set it up and its lovely. My first single speed bike hopefully not my last.

I bought the bike to give one gear a try and hopefully upgrade for some future single speed touring... Any recommendations for light, strong wheelsets? Preferably under £200!

Best upgrade, fit a fixed cog. Simples. £20 for a really good one.

It is flip flop I have a fixed cog on the other side I'm going to give it a go in a few weeks when I am more accustomed to the bike.

And hills... Last time I looked out of my bedroom window calderdale was flat.... right???

Chap at work bought one & ran it as fixed for commuting.
Very quick up the hills actually. Quite a light bike without all the gear train.

H there, what's the gearing ratio on your charge plug ? Nice bike by the way. I've been looking at the Genesis Day one disc, also single speed. Big decision for me between single speed and geared. As wanting to possibly do a bit of cyclocross with it in the future.
