I went out today and yes it was far too icy for cycling on back roads much less the hills i decided to tackle. Coming down was a mixture of 3mph and walking on the verge. :shy:

My hubbys first question when I fell foul of ice last week was "Is your bike ok?" Quite frankly I'd be disgusted if he didn't ask!!! Glad you're ok.

Sounds a sore one but as pat said i wouldnt attempt a turn like that (atleast not at speed) in this weather, that bike has been through the wars with you :laugh:

Ah yes, the famous self repairable night vision evo jacket.
This is bizzare. I came off my bike wearing my NV Evo jacket. Very slight mark to the fabric (under the huge tar stripe!). My jersey was un marked but my elbow looked like I'd rubbed it against an angle grinder! These Evo jackets must be pretty tough!
