I didn't realise the post connection until I read that...
I should add to those who won't know, the 'Mileniuem' bike was superseded by the 'Mailstar' nee Elephant bike, which had the advantage of the rear rack.
It certainly makes a fine utility load lugger, it's heavy , but your not going to do the Col d' izorad on it are you, but I guess some bonkers maniac will try!

Well, I tried to ride a 35kg Bakfiets from Amsterdam to Stuttgart, so I can't make comment...

I suspect I may never take it out of Blyth though I do remember seeing posties riding them up the hill towards Cramlington so that might be something to aim for.
