Yes, as a newbie, I experienced bad builds, and failure of LBS to address shifting problems correctly. I've wasted many a journey taking bikes back and forward to retailers getting stuff put right, eventually you learn the value of fixing things yourself, far less hassle.

Changed the seat post today as the original is a standard one bolt affair I can never get level and put some crudmk 3 on ,in hindsight not the best as the dropped seat stays mean it sits higher at the back than ideal but as long as my ass stays dry as a commuter I'm not bothered about wheel sucker's
