Vile creature she is. I tend to judge the small peoples friends after I have met them, we had a whole heap for a pirate boat trip up the river for Squidges birthday, one of them was a little horror in a number of ways precocious little wotsit springs to mind, if I get asked can he come to tea/play I tend to say can you not pick someone else name has nothing to do with it.
Another child is v. disruptive in class he has learning issues but to have for tea & play date he is a lovely little boy and a dream as long as you tell him what is going to happen and then make sure that happens his Mum is so grateful I allow him over as lots of Mothers will not entertain it because of his behaviour in school.
Another little boy came to dinner & for a play date he did the repeating everything you say thing and would not stop even when asked, had no manners and was most surprised when I made good on the threat to call his Mum to come and get him if he could not behave or do as he was told.
For me every child gets a chance and I assume they are not a pain in the rear until they are, then I think twice about inviting them again, I do not discourage the small people from associating with them.
