Sheds are for tools, lawnmowers, compost bags and old tat the wife does not use anymore.
hallways, dining rooms, bedrooms, sitting rooms and conservatories are for bikes and kids (if they behave).

Two sheds, five bikes in them but if my bike is wet then it lives in the hall until it's dry. Putting wet bikes in a shed is how you get them to rust.

Only two! Where do you keep everything?

ps - how's the cold?

Prior to moving last year my bikes lived in the house in various places. My significant other viewed this as perfectly normal so I am indeed fortunate.

My current house has a large dry garage so thats where they all live now.

The garage was the deciding factor in buying the house - I have partialy furnished it as a workshop come den. I certainly wouldnt waste such a nice facility by putting something as unworhy as a car in there..........

It's not really getting any better or worse, just kind of hanging onto me. A bit concerned but I'll just have to see how it goes. Also got a slight groin strain and a sore knee! Might be a long day ;0)

The majority of people i talk to are astounded that i'm 'allowed' to keep a couple of my bikes in the house, some of my friends wives think it's hilarious, is anyone else as paranoid as me?

"Allowed"!!! It's your house as well, isn't it? Does she give you pocket money as well? I think the old Arabian saying, "out of every ten men, nine are women" comes to mind here.

3 bikes are in the shed, but my pride and joy is currently upstairs in her own bedroom. I have just gone up and tucked her in.
The back of our house is a real sun trap and it gets very warm in the bedroom so I have bought a new dust sheet to cover her up!!!

2 road bikes both in the living room,an old all-purpose peugeot and the Giant which isn't allowed it in the rain. I've told it that and it seems happy with the arrangement, still shiny and in perfect condition a year after purchase. Of course it means the furniture is limited but this is a minor point, obviously the bikes come first.

Yep, not paranoid. Would you keep your wife in the shed?

Why then would I keep my loves out in the cold.

As someone who once kept 3 bikes in a studio flat, keeping them in a house seems perfectly reasonable to me!!!!!!!
And I know someone of this parish who had (I think) 5 bikes in a one-bedroom flat. Well, I say bikes. Two of them were recumbent trikes. I was so jealous...

A friend of mine recently bought a motorcycle, a yamaha R6 to be precise. Anyway when he arrived at the house to look at it, he was invited into the sitting room and the bike was behind the sofa!
I kept my Harley in the house, well in the hallway.
I also keep my bikes in the house though the KMX lives in the trailer.

Locked alarmed garage, part of the house. Normally there are 3 MTBs and 1 road bike but currently my pal's winter road bike has come to stay for a service (in compensation for me falling onto his brand new bike and bending the front wheel!)

Wouldn't dream of leaving any bike in the shed, it's too damp.
