That's me being optimistic. If he has a good time trial, stage 2 looks very 'Tour de Suisse' Poggable if he wants.

Looking at the start list so far, if Almeida finally gets his '26 shizzle together, can anyone see anything other than a UAE 1-2-3? Almeida and Vine could have Pog as a super dom for the last 2 (& a half) weeks.

Would they really want to invite comparisons with the 1996 Paris–Roubaix podium? Has it ever been done in a grand tour?

Vine would have to last three weeks without crashing out for that to happen

Wonder if the other starters are having the same discussion. Might be thinking bloody Slovenian, coming here and taking our Vuelta. We'll show him. Personally I'd love him to win. Doesn't have to dominate it just spread the love/stages about and keep Roglic out.
