Oh, diddums. :hugs:
After often going to websites and finding 2 sections "Clothing" (ie not "Men's clothing") and "Women's clothing" and it having only 10-20% of the range for women compared to men, I'm not going to have sympathy for one item of kit only available in women's cut.

Progress. :okay:

Not sure what you mean?
If blokes regularly had the mirror image of the experience I had when simply trying to buy cycling shoes from a huge chain, Evans, (a display wall full of shoes for the opposite gender, and only two choices for mine one of which was the wrong type, i.e. no choice at all) they'd be complaining for sure.

I'm sure they would.

I still have sympathy for your situation regardless and like to actively promote awareness and understanding where possible.

I needed new shorts, DHB aeron race are my jam. Currently these are only £4 more than the equivalent shorts, so I thought I'd give them a try.

Looks like they are going back. Elastic doesn't bother me much - though it's nice without it - but as predicted above, the strap really digs into my neck.

I ended up keeping these shorts (and the neck ache on longer rides), but the lycra is starting to fail, so just replaced with bargain Pearl Izumi bibs. They look more like tradition bibs and the straps go over the shoulders, but the bib part is only attached to the shorts at the front, so you again don't have to strip to answer natures call.

The men's version, alas, does not have this feature and is just one piece.
