Obviously an Aubergine
I had some own brand from Halfords, last year. They were good for ages but they don’t survive an accidental boil wash. Good value for money though.

How annoying...

I've never had really 'high end' shorts as I could see them getting nicked off a campsite line..

Or even off of my bike..

I usually alternate by wearing a pair, and washing and then drying the other pair, by hanging them off my luggage if on a trip.

Are the super-expensive ones that much better ??

Or is it just a style thang??

When I am cycling in normal clothes or mountain bike trousers I wear these from velovixen
I also have a few pairs of these

Cheap as chips but come from China so take a while. They are good quality and fit well. Size medium for a UK size 8-10

Ooo I like the look of these..

Quicker to dry too
Thanks 👍🏼

+1 for the seamless knickers as @KnittyNorah suggests. Plus trousers / shorts where there's a gusset in the crotch. It're the seams that can lead to painful chafing. As can cotton fabric, because that doesn't wick away the sweat.

The Decathlon seamless running briefs work for me, and I team them up with Decathlon knee-length unpadded MTB shorts - the ones that sell for around £30 a pair. I don't often ride padded - typically only on the road bike which is more bum-up-head-down than either my hybrid or MTB.

One last thing. Tell your OH not to trim her Lady Garden. DAMHIKT.

Thanks all.
@Julia9054 those black stars look good, but at £40 per pair they are out of the window. I have to buy them, and that's into bib short territory!
The Chinese ones look value for money, but only go up to size 10. SWMBO is a 12, and Chinese sizes are always on the small side so they are out.
We've ordered some of what @BoldonLad suggested. Cheap enough to try and see.

Now we are getting into dangerous territory. Think I'd better not comment on that:blush::blush::blush:
