Chromebook questions....

Am looking to buy a laptop devicethingamybobby. Wimpers has a proper laptop for lap-toppy stuff.

What I need is portable, long battery life, good for web-shoot like here, grauniad online, ordering stuff from Alpkit and watching youporntube.
Also, photograph storage and management from camera and iphone.
Apart from cloudage, I assume I can also load photos onto external
Hard drives and memory stickies if the onboard memory is a bit lacking.

Is a Chromebook for me?

Why do you need a laptop and a windows one at that? You could get a very nice chromebook for that or an iPad.

Is a Chromebook for me?

Yes, sure. Most chromebooks have a slot for SD cards or you can use external drive.
Check out the YouTube video above telling you what it can do. Some are convertible which means the screen folds back and you can use it as a tablet.

can a chromebook run a 10 year old pc game that needs 3 gig of storage though too ?, its an odd request i know but i am partial to some retro dabbling in a game that is now open source .

I dont know but they can run Linux. Storage shouldn't be a problem.
