lbc is just radio Daily Mail. I used to listen to it a fair bit out of psychological observation and fascination for the oddballs who called in, but have come to the conclusion its core listenership is just paranoid, uninformed and uneducated 'it's PeeCee gorn maaad' wvm and w types. They get in right wing shock jocks (James Whale does the drivetime slot at the moment - says it all really), just to be contentious and stir things up. Worryingly, they've pulled over a lot of listeners from BBC london and 5Live recently.
