Combining this topic with the 'Getting into heaven' one, I would say that whoever cooks the beef and mushroom suet puds at the Westleton Crown in Suffolk deserves a chance of achieving the latter.

I'm basing this on today's lunch there, where despite ordering just food, I ended up with some kind of divine presence on my plate. Possibly the most delicious suet pud ever.

I make gooooood lentil soup

Sometimes with sausages in it, or chunks of chorizo

sometimes Turkish style with mint

and sometimes just old school with tomatoes and herbs

Lentil soup is easy but kinda dull. I'm making cream of mushroom tonight as I haven't had it in a while, but I do a wicked Cullen Skink. I'd say it's probably the king.
