OK, 3 days, 3 rides. Not in any particular order yet, but ride 1. Gospel pass then across to Monmouth and head up the Wye Valley AONB to Ross on Wye before turning west and heading back to base. Lunch will be taken somewhere around Monmouth or Ross.

Ride 2. Heading the other way and looping around to the west via Builth Wells, Llandovery and Brecon. No idea what this ride will be like but it works on the map and will be an adventure if nothing else.

Ride 3. A personal destination really. As no one else appears to be joining me I am going to take the opportunity to head south and visit my dad for a few hours.

How much does it cost to Oldham?

Now I have had time to think about it I think the logical choice will be Llandovery on Friday to get the longest, hilliest ride out of the way 1st. Gospel Pass ride on Saturday if anyone wants to come along (@theclaud?) and finally, ride to my dad's house on Sunday and maybe bag a Sunday lunch with him.....

I LOVE the Gospel Pass and have been keeping an eye on the thread but I don't think I can make it - it's tricky to get to the start and one of my ride buddies who would otherwise have loved to come has recently had a knee operation so I think we'll be opting for a gentler ride to include him. Sorry Skolly - looks like it's going to be a perfect day for it as well.

Yeah- I've had a short ride in the same vehicle before it's refurb. Lorra fun.
It's slightly higher now Dan, you might need to stand on a milk crate to get in! (Saying that has just made me realise how old I am, I bet there are a lot of people around that don't even know what a milk crate is, or a C60 tape, or a Switch card, or a......)
