farkin' ell! It's Fred Titmus! from the immortal Half MAn Half Biscuit.

crowded house don't dream it's over

now try:

you said forever, and then you went and changed your plan
you said that i would understand, but i still wonder…

Don't Call Me Baby, although the girl/band's name just escapes me.

Put me out of my misery or it'll haunt me and I won't sleep tonight!

It seemed a small amount.
But they didn't tell him
That the first 2 didn't count"

Tin Soldiers - Stiff Little Fingers, what a classic!!

Now for this -

I left alone, my mind was blank
I needed time to think to get the memories from my mind
What did I see, could I believe
That what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy

Sorry I don't know the answer to this it's a plea for help.

There's a cover version being played on High Peak Radio:-

"Hey, How ya doing,
Sorry you couldn't get through,
If you leave your name and your number,
I'll get back to you"

Ta in advance.

Extra marks if you can guess the year of birth of the forum member who posts the lyric to be guessed... on the grounds of their taste in songs for us to name.... sort of thing.

(Did you understand that? Good).

E.g., for cisamcgu, quoting Blondie, maybe.... 1965.

Close?
