Lidl have some cycling gear coming up on the 26th Aug

What exactly are the 'performance top's all about?

Also the gloves look exactly the same as the cheapo pair I bought from Sports Direct, minus the Dunlop logo

Socks look good.

The performance top is compression underwear. It's very tight fitting (with stretch), breathable vest that keeps you warm and wicks moisture away.

I got one last year and it was great in winter.

Leggings look a bit different to what is usually on offer. might be worth a punt.

I use some (recommended by Arch) which are 3M and come from (among others) Amazon, but at a MUCH higher price.

Be interesting to se what Lidl's are like (if they have any here).

Dam it every thing apart from shoes I have nice shiny m520 peddles but no shoes as of yet need to save for a couple of weeks. Lidl would have been a nice short cut.

Yeah I'm after some shoes too I wanted to use some without cleats to cycle on the flat pedals on the new machine. Maybe next time, or in Aldi.

I sent Mrs CK down to get me some asap !!, came back with 1 so i had to go down myself and get some more, it makes a great base layer for winter!

Not too bad, bought one a while back and it was fine until I got a bit vigourous with it and ripped the blasted thing in half. Oops.

Which ones are these ? Are they more compression stuff or Thermal base layers ?

I have some Thermals from Aldi and they are fantastic base layers for the winter.
