light mounts?

just wondering what cyclists do to mount lights in a way that'll keep the bars uncluttered? Is there a Garmin mount with light attachment on the market?

Fork crown mount.

Most of the nutted or screwthread band mounts will fit around the top of the steerer tube. Cateye mounts are generally good.

Topeak, and I'm sure others, do a bar extender.

Head/helmet light?

Agree, I'm not a fan or advocate of the integrated unit types.

In this instance tho as a light in preference to a bar mounted option a front facing helmet light etc would be a more powerful & bespoke front light than those fairly gimmicky ones.

My garmin sits on the stem. Lights on bars, bearing in mind I have 38/40cm width drops

Just got two 'out front' extensions for the old MTB. Not much room on my bars on my old bike.

I've searched the forum because I'm sure someone had a simple modification for a Garmin out front mount where they attached a helmet mount underneath

No luck yet though
