Sorry but that made me laugh quite hard.

I'm glad to have introduced a little joy into your day.

I'll try and get a pic of the set up later, but I can't promise it'll have my bum in it....

Still less the moustache underneath?

Arch, they were simply billed as "super bright led's" and are quite white in use. The colour balance on the camera has made them look blue. Funnily enough they make the 1w LED front lamp look yellow in comparison.

I walked back past the shop today and realised, to my horror, that I had called the place poundland. Very wrong of me. It was poundworld.

Cheers, I'll go back and have a look, heck, it's only a quid if they aren't right - I think I was in poundworld too. But mine were specifically labelled 'red', and the others 'blue'...

I took a pic this morning, and I'll get another in the dark tonight...

Here are mine, not showing up all that well in the light, and I couldn't really get a pic in the dark, because of the flash (and without it, it's all just blur)

They look better in the dark, because they reflect off the frame and mudguard.

Might see what else I can find cheap this weekend.

I'm now tooled up, complete with tree and fairy lights:

No reaction from fellow commuters, car or van drivers or pedestrians. Bunch of miserable Scrooges. The lot of them. Just one peep, wave or smile and I'll be happy.

My Christmas tree got noticed this evening!!!

Yes, my colleagues noticed it on Monday, but I told them about it.

Yes, the man in the bike shop noticed it on Wednesday (new tire), but I did plonk my handlebars a few inches under his nose, so he had to.

But today, caught up with a commuter just by Millenium Point. Passed him, but lights were all against me on New Canal Street. He drew alongside me at the Digbeth High Street junction, and told me that he liked my decorations.

He himself was well lit, with four separate rear lights - the result of being knocked off twice.

Anyway, due to red lights we matched each other for pace through town and along the Pershore Road. I dropped him by where Pebble Mill used to be, and didn't see him again before I turned off. Had a good chat as he said "mild isn't it" just as we turned off Digbeth High Street, but it was snowing by the time that we reached the wholesale markets. By the police training college I'd declared that I wasn't going to use the bike again that year. His response "No, never go back to the car!!"

But someone saw my little tree and lights. And made a comment.

I'm happy now.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Not a frigging sausage here.

But they did notice the new car horn I have fitted (yesterday)

Bought it by accident off of ebay and realise it is a car horn not a motorbike horn.
