There's sunlight and minerals.
Build a dome, grow some edible plants, and there's your oxygen supply and your food..

90% of the population here on earth would stuggle building a flat pack ikea dome kit and growing their own ediple plants so what chance would they have on Mars?

If it's going to die eventually, then by definition it's dying. Like we all are.

Obviously. I wasn't picking apart the literal statement of 'The Earth is dying', but more the idea in the original post, that we, as humans, will bring about it's death.
