Local attractions

Cambridge about 30 miles one way, London 30 miles t'other.
Luton is only 15 miles away, but I try not to think about that!

If Luton is that local then you have the Chiltern hills nearby.

There are many for me.

Ashridge (Bucks)
The three hundreds of Aylesbury...with lots of pretty villages (Bucks)
Dunstable Downs.....which are on my doorstep and a real eye opener.
Woburn....you can drive through the village and past the Abbey into the grounds there and cycle amongst the free roaming deer.
Grand Union canal. Towpaths are nice places...Berkhamstead is pretty and very upper class.....with canal side pubs too.....perfect for a stop off on a sunny summers day.
I could go on for a while......

Oh, sorry, I forgot Nechells. Bit like the Seychelles, but less remote.
