In Lutterworth and have considered joining: Brackley star; Hinckley RC; Whelan Valley CC; Rugby Velo; Broughton Astley CTC or going on my local shop rides (Lutterworth CC) but actually haven't, because I cycle to get away from people, not to be with them!

Instead I have formed a variety of loosely connected groups (I could do a Venn diagram of them) I either tour or race mtb with, namely: Team Tunnocks; The Tailwind Tarts and Saturday Night Beaver. And that's the way it's gonna stay.

Did you name them in honour of the Chubby Brown video of the same name?

I'm from the St Tropez of the south and I ride with a group of friends. We dubbed ourselves the Cleveland Wheelers because we drink in The Cleveland Inn. We then discovered there is a real cycling club of that name so we might get sued for plagiarism or summat.

I'm in the Manchester Wheelers, haven't cycled with em much due to knee problems and going home, they don't like me much anyway.

I'm also a member of Clifton CC in York, so if anyone in Manchester sees a guy with red, black and white shorts on with CliftonCC.org on the side that's me

I ride with the Edinburgh Road Club and Spokes (Edinburgh) the latter is more social and often more enjoyable whereas the the former is more speed driven; it depends what you are after in a club.
