OK, here's a novel idea. Go and buy a map and follow your nose. You live in the SE, so you're never going to be far from a train station if it doesn't work out.

Otherwise just plot your own routes using ride with gps? Where in London are you, a big place!

Out to Henley and back's quite nice, tho I'd stop for food at Marlow as it's not as busy.
For a shortish trip, out to Guildford via Ockham etc is nice and you can avoid the busy roads quite easily then head back in via West village - again there are plenty of quieter roads till you hit Woking.
