The hotel may seem like it is in a bit of a dead zone, which it is, but you are a short walk from some nice places. I work nearby.

I found the St Paul's area nice and peaceful at night (although a bit boring after a while), but then, it is in the City so is closed.

if you want to eat/drink cheaply there are a couple of tesco metros nearby to pick up basic supplies at sensible prices.

I found that the City had quite a few cheap little places in the back streets too, particularly to the south of St Paul's before you get to the river.

This was a few years ago now though.

Dutch syphillis is more his thing, or so I've heard.
Look, I apologised for that, and if you complete the course of antibiotics you should be fine.

Tube, Kings Cross to Tower bridge.--- Circle line via Liverpool street to Tower Hill station.

Tower Bridge to Wembley,-- Circle Line, Tower Hill, one stop to Aldgate, then Metropolitan Line to Wembley Park.
What am I missing? Why can't you just get the Metropolitan line from Kings Cross?

And if you can't, it's a short walk to Euston Sq.,

It's a bit more complicated than that...

That Travelodge?

From Kings Cross - Circle or Metropolitan line to Aldgate, then walk down Minories - it's about 5 minutes.
From there to Wembley - walk to Aldgate, take almost any Metropolitan line train to Wembley Park - it's about 30 minutes. The arena is about 10 minutes walk from the station, to the right of the stadium.

The walk from the station to the stadium and the arena is a national embarrassment - but that's another story.

In general, in central London it's often worth taking a simpler journey to a slightly more distant station.
