long drop brakes?

any one know what drop i would need to use 26" wheels in a 700c frame?

Depends on the frame and the wheels - measure them up.

31.5mm more than whatever drop your 700c frame uses. ((622-559)/2)

Tektro R556 go up to 73mm and Alhongas up to 75mm, so you may be OK so long as your existing frame is a close clearance one (standard road calipers use a 39-49mm range).

thanks! there were no brakes on the frame when i got it, so i can't work it out from that. the frame's being powder coated at the moment, so i'll have to wait for it to come back to measure it.
