Years ago an old chap asked me to refit his handlebars upside down on his XV535 "Geoff Dukes style".

It was a bit of a faf with the cables but managed it in the end an it was surprisingly comfortable.

I bet a few people did a double take as he road past!.

You what? It looks like there are small black bar plugs.

What's the problem with it? It's just reversed bars. People don't do that enough these days. That bike was never going to be considered a looker, so might as well make it comfortable.

I don't think the OP has a leg to stand on about style - we've seen pictures of his hat ;)
