Look Keo Max 2

About to buy some new pedals. Leaning towards Look Keo Max 2 as I fancy trying something different to SPD SL. Any reasons to avoid them? If so I'd go for Ultegra 6800.

Not that I'm aware of, I have the Keo Max's on mine and I'm very satisfied. About as easy to unclip from as SPD's too.

Look Keo 2 max pedals are SPD SL. Good pedals mind, I have the carbon pair

Not quite.. They are what Shimano copied to produce SPD-SL

Nothing like being picky. Look Keo pedals are commonly thought of as spd sls rather than spds, particularly when comparing pedal types. I am well aware the cleats are slightly different, as are the pedals

Yeah they're same but different as they say :-) like that style of cleat just fancied trying the Look's. Also, my new bike may have SRAM so couldn't possibly have Shim pedals with SRAM Groupset lol

I moved to the Look Keo Max 2 pedals from the Look a Classic ones on my older road bike.

They are a great set of pedals and personally think they are a huge improvement over the Classic especially in the angle they hang at making clipping in a breeze.
