Do the shifters still click, the lower lever go in single clicks and the brake lever should push in the same way to click ? Worth checking although might be more economical to replace if they are very worn as i had a pair of old shifters where you had to overshift as they were on the way out.
they dont make a click noise. rather, they are just dragged up and down. and are smooth.
cyberknight, it runs well (i think). defintiely smoother than my previous bikes. the breaks definitely need getting used to, as well as the fact the drop down bars.
i think i might still pruchase the btwin fit 300 for cycles around richmond park and longer journeys. and use the carerra for trips to the shop and train station.
Nope, the drops will help you go faster and be less impaired by the wind, and the flat bars will give you a better view of the road and will feel more leisurely. When riding with flats, your body can act like a huge parachute
