My old car comes up for it's MOT on Saturday am.

It's only 17 years old....

I did a full service 3 weeks ago - front pads too, but it's taken 2 weeks to get the new pads to fully 'bed in' to the original disks - which is amazing... on light braking.
Fail on rear brake lights!

Noticed Vera's Land Rover hasn't had an MOT since 2015 & hasn't VED either, bit naughty for a copper

Aren't they on a trailer when filming in car shots..
Though it does drive about in shots

Vera doesn’t have to worry until April.
She’s had no advisories for a few years but only does 3K a year.

I was disappointed with my Toyota Corolla Verso in it’s most recent MOT.

I had to pay £3.50 for a replacement parking light bulb to get it through.

This is the first time I’ve ever had to pay any extra to get it to pass in the 15 years and 155,000 miles I’ve owned it.

My daughter’s Mini on the other hand... don’t get me started.

I eyed up a chums new (to him) Toyota IQ. It looks huge!

Looked at one last year, the wife liked it, but I didn't fell comfortable in it. Also thought they were too wide for a city type of car.
Plenty of room though and a clever design.
Went for a C1 instead, just had a recall on it, apparently the rear hinged windows can fall out if the resin fails.

Passed - no advisories. 8000 miles last year, now on 126,000 and 17 years old.
