Anyone who throws away perfectly good tubes that could easily be fixed is a scoundrel, a blackguard and a polar bear assassin. Also, nine times out of ten I bet I can fix a puncture faster than you can change a tube. Also, even if tubes are cheap, they're not free. Can't you find better uses for the money? You'd only have to fix two or three punctures and you could afford to buy a top puncture repair outfit, with a cracking tin!

Not much of a tin though is it? I mean, come on...you'd be a bit disappointed on Christmas morning wouldn't you?

I not only repair tubes, when they are past repairing, I find other uses for them!
My latest is to cut them up and use them on the bases of a hand carved chess set I'm making instead of buying green felt...yup, I'm tight!
