The route as given above.
Not too certain how well that track is maintained now.
Will you be travelling from Low Moor station. Merrydale Road* will cross under the M606 and onto the industrial estate.
Oakenshaw to the Euroway
East under the M606, junction of Cleckheaton Road - Bradford Road. Headed for the school, and the first left after it. Will get you in at the southern end.
Continue past the school, up Mill Carr Hill Road will bring you to where the "compass" is on the picture above. Left onto Boy Lane, then left on to Rockall Lane.
*That's the road at the bottom of the above route

It's as @classic33 and @Mazz have put it. The Greenway is fine to ride on.
Really easy; come off the Greenway and straight on through both roundabouts and at the first set of lights.

The entireity of the greenway is still tarmacked but in places it is heavily rutted due to tree root pushing the surface, sustrans actually put some signs up at the worst sections a while back. Its only small sections though, most is fine.
None of it is lit though and with the nights drawing in be mindful of a late ride and having a good light.
