Made my choice

Hi All,

Made my choice today on a Ridley Icarus 1006a and looking forward to getting out on the road, done some road biking before but not on anything more than my hybrid. Couple of questions;

Have a made a decent choice on bike?

Any tips I should be aware of?

Anyone local to Northampton willing to accept a newbie? A fit one so no worries of holding you back too much.

Ridley are a decent bike brand and at that price point you are not going to buying anything rubbishand as long as it fits you OK is half decent kit.

I was a little surprised that an Alu bike costing over a grand came with only Tiagra components though, not that Tiagra is rubbish but I would have looked for 105 at that price point.
