Actually Roger is correct 
in that when were due originally to get the Pino tandem in he was meant to be coming up to York and I'd planned a photo shoot that weekend, which would have been an opportunity to stop him moaning about Arch having been on the cover but not him. But he did his back in and the Pino turned up late anyway... so now it's Arch, Spandex and Gromit who have been on the cover and not Hilldodger

Interesting how the recumbent content seems to put some people off - it's also one reason many say they like the mag as there's precious little coverage elsewhere in print (plenty on the web), and recumbents just seem to inspire a lot of contributors too. Levels of recumbent stuff do tend to swing up and down between issues, which is one reason why I included two mags as samples...
Particularly liked threebikesmcginty's comment "...the whole ethos of the magazine [is] getting yourself, your family, your goods, etc. from A to B by means of bicycle, whatever type..." which pretty much sums up what we're about.
A lot of the specialised bikes to do this are a bit pricey, alas, a combination of the extra engineering involved compared to the standard diamond frame and especially due to short production runs compared to the huge numbers of upright diamond frame bicycles made. I do try to bring in 'budget' options as much as poss - we did a £199 folder review a few issues back.
Counting the requests that came in over the weekend (will be sent out today) there are just 15 or so free samples left from my original offer of 100, so get in quick if you want one!

Thanks for the two free copies.
I'm not a magazine person and I don't think I've ever looked at a cycling magazine before so I can't compare. BUT I was fascinated to see all the recumbents and trikes. Having seen them I think I'd like to try out a trike if I ever got the chance.
It was great to see people in ordinary clothes and using bikes for ordinary, practical things.
I'm not likely to subscribe, but I will pass on the two free copies - probably to my local library - when I've finished with them, and will check out the website.

Can I just say this is one of the reasons I love VeloVision that it is not just stuck on one type of cycle that just about all of the overs are.
