I got this idea because I have just discovered a brilliant band called Les Pommes de ma Douche, a five piece French Gypsy Jazz band who simply play brilliantly uplifting music. I unhesitatingly recommend the Swing From Paris album.

So go on then, top that for obscurity.

Oh... and I love that Django Reinhardt style-wing - it's what I play when I play guitar too.

Everyone has heard "Telephone and rubber band" though may not know the title or the band or of the late Simon Jeffes. How about Robert Fripp and The League of Gentlemen and "Heptaparaparshinokh".
