Apologies if already posted somewhere (I only skim the various CC forums when either awaiting a brief/chomping on a sandwich) but the vids on this site had me hooked for a good hour yesterday.

This one in particular shows a few in-car vids taken in Poland. Not cycling per se, but I'd hate to be a bike on these roads! Possibly the case that they're simply isolated examples (haven't driven in Poland) but there's plenty here to make you go 'eek!' as you eat your lunch.

We don't have it so bad in London/UK eh? (most of the time) ;-)

I'm always amazed at how often in a 'close encounter' the horn is used rather than, what the first resort should be, the brake.
I saw a bump a few weeks ago where a bloke bumped into the side of another car that had pulled out in front of him. I was following and the first thing I noticed was his horn blasting, THEN, the brake lights came on.
I'm pretty sure if it had been to other way round he would have stopped in time. It wasn't a major bang just a bump but it could have been avoided.

That's one of the main reasons I've avoided getting an Airzound. The primary use of a horn is to make people aware of your presence. Generally by the time you need to make another road user aware of your presence it's too late, meaning that using the horn is at best a show of frustration and achieves nothing, at worst a distraction that slows down the time it takes to apply the brakes.

I have no issue with those that do use Airzounds, they're just not for me.

all looked pretty familiar to me.
Yeah there's nothing that I don't see in the UK at least once a year.

Amazing how other drivers rely TOTALLY on the ability of others to get out of the way and often, save their lives.
A lot of example of why the lack of near miss statistics is a problem when trying to decide if something is safe or not.

Bloody hell, do they have a problem with drink driving in Poland?

Guessing they are shot from buses, I don't think you see many people crashing into buses and then just casually driving off in the UK.
