Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Makita are a good make. Reasonable price, and the battery time lasts. And you can buy other like strimmers, hedge cutters etc, and the same battery can be used for all. They are well made as well.

Dewalt are quite good as well, but sell more through their reputation i think rather than being better than the rest, and they are quite expensive. Makita for me it is.

I'm not sure what £150 buys.
I have used Milwaukee, Dewalt, Hilti and Makita drills and impact drivers in a number of places and they have always been very good.
I spent my own money on a Milwaukee impact driver.
Whatever you buy, go to a tool shop. Some of the models from well known brands sold at hardware chains are budget or handyman specials built down to a price.

Id chose makita over dewalt every time

Tho a 150 budget is about half of what a really good drill would cost.
Quality battery is key

Loch side.
Is the pope a Catholic? Makita of course. No need to go for the brushless model unless you work with it all day and want the battery to last a bit longer.

It's about 2 yr old..
I think it's a very good drill and the battery seems long life..

Good power and decent hammer..and torque..ok for screws too

I'd buy one myself..
