They will repair them, but if a write off, it's based on current value, not getting a new replacement, so if the bike is a few years old, you won't get much. I've not bothered in my case as there was just a scratch on the carbon forks, and having brought it home, it's like a rub against another surface - it can be 'polished out'. Praise for the Ortlieb 'air bag' panniers though !!
Manufacturer supplied the price, backing up what the bike shop said for repair. Not willing to supply me with the frame, which is understandable.

Just looking at scanned copies of the receipts.

@Hugh Manatee we do have hospitals in Scotland, you know?
Get that leg checked!
Before the bike gets checked!
He said it's his shoulder. The Nokia survived, having done its job.

I probably let the driver off rather lightly but I never did believe in the blame/claim thing.

It's not about blame, but why should you be out of pocket because a driver wasn't looking properly? That's exactly what insurance is for.

@Drago wanted a shot of bruising. Starting to fade a little now but here is the one on my upper arm/shoulder. There are better ones on my thigh and ankle but more sensitive viewers shouldn't be exposed to that sort of thing!
