Take care of your injuries @Hugh Manatee, really, you should have gone to get them checked immediately.
Did the driver leave you?
All the best for a speedy recovery: it's raining here in Scotland, you won't miss much if you stay put.

Hope you aren't feeling too stiff and painful today, but get yourself checked out, adrenaline make you miss some injuries at first.

How are you today Hugh?

Sore but still registered amongst the living! I have the starts of a bruise on my upper arm and my left leg is sore as well. Also a general ache all over. I think I have to head north today. Luckily the car is an auto and I'll stop at a lot of services to ease my back etc. If I don't go I'll have to totally rearrange my diary way past Easter.

Here is a picture showing the fork crown. No splintered carbon or snapped aluminium but a definite crack in the paint. There is one on both legs and the brakes and wheel are impossible to centre. I'll have to get a professional opinion when I get back. And to think I spent all that time cleaning the thing yesterday morn! @biggs682 do you have any suitable forks?

Thanks for all the messages of concern. This is the friendly forum.

@Hugh Manatee the Only forks I have are 1" . Alloy all the way. They were both from a top of the range koga of some sort.

One pair are new the other pair are slightly marked.

Hope you will be recovering soon.
