I get that, but maybe try the job before disliking it or knocking the people doing their best.
But in my experience, they are not doing their best. I mean, they are doing their best to enhance their own careers whilst sh*ting on the people below. My current manager is on £87k/year. She has treated 4 people very badly, has lost 2 tribunals and is still allowed to do the same job. She has now got a new job, on more pay, and she wrote the job description herself. She was the only candidate for interview, despite uproar and complaints from the local University departments. She works at home when she pleases. She thinks nothing of humiliating a person in a meeting in front of their peers. She knows her stuff, granted. But there are many more elements to being a good leader and manager, which she is not.

Has anyone noticed the "cadence" has crept into management speak? Grrr
