Great, thanks
That's the excuse we hear, but it's just not true. They were always going to be sparse, there just isn't the space for much of a continuous network.
It's a point of view. An odd one, but a point of view ...Yes there are places you can do it but, unless you can do it everywhere, you shouldn't start.
What's the colour code for segregated section? I can't spot one, but maybe I'm missing something obvious?Don't the TFL cycle maps use a different colour for segregated paths
The alternative is to get started. Dutch-quality cycling infrastructure is a virtuous spiral: the more you have, the more people who cycle and the greater the demand for further facilities. What was once unthinkable becomes the logical and obvious thing to do. It happened in the Netherlands, it can happen here. The alternative is to promote ghettos.

FYI CS2 is only segregated from bow to stratford.Having looked at the ones Gaz posted, those are generally just a few feet long. :-) Though cut-throughs can be handy, so I certainly don't dismiss them as useless, but I think I probably won't bother including them in the tour.
So far, it's CS2 from Stratford into Aldgate, then CS3 from Tower Hill out towards Barking and back, followed by Southwark Bridge then Tavistock Place/Calthorpe Street.
I could be underestimating the drivers.
Well, it does look like an accident waiting to happen there and it has been there for a number of years. I don't know what the stats are for accidents there so it could be that the drivers are attentive, the cyclists are defensive, my assessment is wrong or there's been lots of accidents. Not sure which (or combination) is true. That seems vanishingly unlikely.
Tower hill - limehouse and then from east india to the end. So a fair amount but both at the opposite ends. Thanks, Gaz. Do you (or anyone else) happen to know which stretch of CS3 is segregated?
Perfect, thanks.Tower hill - limehouse and then from east india to the end. So a fair amount but both at the opposite ends.
