Slightly OT, but......

If you were "offended" by the action of the driver, is there any reason why you should not complain to the licensing authority about his conduct.

The wording to use is that you do not feel he is a "fit and proper" person to be holding a license.

This is just an assumption, but wouldnt the Police be contacting his licensers to check he was officially allowed on the road taking fares?

Not sure how it works exactly (not had the pleasure) but a condition of holding a cab licence is that you report any criminal offence to the PCO.

Ahh right. If thats the case then I guess they wouldnt then.

Walked from St James’s park tube to Vincent Square the other morning, just after 6.30am – couldn’t count the number of aggressive incidents I saw on the road just on that short trip – two white vans and a 4x4 outside New Scotland Yard (of all places) – all stopped and out of their vehicles shouting at each other, roadie cyclist getting beeped at and driven at for having the cheek to overtake a car, black cab beeping at and driving at (rather than slowing for) a couple crossing the side road he was turning into – and a few other little niggles all on a sub 5 minute stroll through SW1.
