Strange! I hate twiglets with a passion but lurve marmite.

twiglets taste like they're coated in a toxic chemical that's been specially formulated to imitate Marmite.

Never tried it as i don't have a chip pan... but I've heard that a dollop of Marmite in the fat (last fry before chucking it) makes lovely Marmite chips

Marmite chocolate should be banned ,just made to fill your bins we had a bar it got passed around 4 family's no one liked it.....

I lived not far from the Strangeways brewery owned by Boddingtons in Manchester when I was a student in the 1980s. When the wind was in the right direction, a lovely smell used to blow over from that! (Oh - I just read that the brewery was closed years back ... )

Holts brewery is still there in Cheetham Hill.

Growing up we got the smell from Kelloggs in Trafford park. That smell bring back memories when I cycle past the factory, to visit Mum.

I can still remember the shock of trying Vegemite and expecting something like Marmite. Bleeeurgh. It tastes like greasy vomit and has the consistency to match too.

Same here. I used to live with a girl who was brought up in Oz. She tried to convert me to Vegemite. Noooooooooo.
