For sale is a lovely pair of Mavic Open Pro Wheels in the now rare anodised blue finish. Laced onto a Campagnolo Record front hub and a Shimano rear hub which has been polished to match the finish of the front hub. 32 spoke lacing using the best Sapim stainless spokes.
I will sell these with a pair of superb Veloflex Master 25mm tyres (and tubes) included in the price. Beautiful cotton case tyres perfect for bikes of this vintage and with very little use.
I will also include the 11-32 cassette shown in the pictures along with the nice lightweight Hope skewers (These are a modern version)
Bearings are all good and smooth and rims are nice and true.
There is minimal wear to the braking surface which means there are a good many miles left in these wheels. They are ready to be used immediately.
These wheels date from around the mid 1990’s so they would be a perfect addition to a bike of that vintage or for a Classic rebuild project.
Wheels will be sent in a secure wheel box by insured delivery.
