MBIFO - A castle

We don't seem to have a thread for castles. We have one for ruins, which fits most castled, but I don't think this one - Caerphilly Castle is really a ruin.

My Linear in one front of one of the entrances to Cholmondeley Castle. Not exactly welcoming. I suspect I was on CCTV, expecting someone to turn up in a massive SUV and tell me to Clear Orff at any minute.

Hmmmm….not too many Castles (?) locally that I’m aware of / or ride close too very regularly (Good new topic btw).

But I do have MBIFO this one - the remnants of Burgh Castle, Norfolk. Built in the 3rd Century AD 😁
