I keep getting ads featuring female cyclists young enough to be my daughter or granddaughter. I can't even keep up with a lot of women of my own age, so a fat lot of good they would be as cycling partners!

I've noticed that if I watch videos on Youtube without logging out of Google first I get spam related to my video choices the next day.

I watched a clip from The Wolf of Wall Street (where he gets a job selling "Penny Stocks") and the next day, low and behold, spam related to investing in Penny Stocks.

Google most definitely is watching you . . . . ;-)

What REALLY bugs me is searching for something, finding it at a decent price, buying it, and then for the next 6 months being bombarded with ads for the thing that you no longer want to purchase. I bought a new battery for my laptop and I shouldn't need another for a couple of years, but I keep getting ads for laptop batteries.

What I dislike the most is the adverts usually are the same shops/sites you've already been looking at (or just bought from). Which you're already aware of the price, they're not alternative vendors with cheaper prices which means their adverts are the equivalent of having an idiot chaperoning you around the Internet constantly pointing out something that you already know just incase you forget, a lot..
